Volunteers extend the reach of Jewish Family Services’ staff and help us fulfill our mission. Whether it’s serving as a Friendly Visitor to an isolated older adult, becoming a volunteer driver, donating your time and professional services, or purchasing needed items from our Amazon Wishlist, there are a variety of opportunities to get involved!

Friendly Visitors
Help lessen the isolation and increase the quality of life for seniors with diminished mobility. Volunteers connect to seniors through phone calls, visits and/or excursions to restaurants, parks, errands and other activities.
Adopt-A-Family
Jump start your holiday spirit with this gift donation drive help clients celebrate December holidays and the new year. Volunteers may shop for gifts and gift cards for families in need or help run our gift store during the month of December.
Volunteer Driver
Provide transportation for seniors and refugees to and from their homes for healthcare appointments, school registration, meetings, grocery and personal shopping and other needs.
Professional Services
Offer your professionals services pro bono or at a reduced cost for clients of Jewish Family Services. Legal assistance, health care, car repairs, and home maintenance are a few common areas where clients request support.
