LIFE & LEGACY® program

Jewish Family Service is a participating agency in the LIFE & LEGACY® program, an initiative of JewishColumbus in partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. They have joined together to strengthen the central Ohio Jewish community by encouraging endowment building and legacy giving. Through this program, JFS is eligible for grant funds when new donors join the legacy society and/or existing members provide additional details about their planned gift.

Community Members Share Why They Made A Legacy Commitment to Jewish Family Services

Headshot of Norbert

“It is not only me. I know a lot of people in our community who Jewish Family Services has helped. I don’t have words to thank them, but I will keep praying to God to lift Jewish Family Services up because it helps people a lot in our community.”

Norbert, Former Client

NOTE ABOUT STOCK GIFTS OR IRA ROLLOVER GIFTS:

Your generous gift of stock or IRA rollover will arrive without your personal name associated with it. So that we may send you a gift receipt for tax purposes, attribute your gift toward your pledge, and/or offer you donor recognition, please contact: Diana Schrimpf at dschrimpf@jfscolumbus.org to inform us of your gift prior to transfer.

But that work is also driven by Hillel’s second question, which drives us to help others needing assistance. Our talented, diverse staff serves individuals from every zip code in Central Ohio and beyond, and those individuals reflect the rich religious, racial, gender, and economic diversity of the broader community.
