Networking: Creating Your Own Board of Directors

Networking has a big impact in the job search journey. Building a network is a strategic process and one approach is to create your own “Personal Board of Directors.”

A Personal Board of Directors is a group of individuals who can provide you with guidance, support, and advice in your professional life. You choose who is on your Board and might include mentors, peers, friends, family members, and colleagues. Using a strategic thought process will benefit you greatly and you can share this experience in a job interview.

Our guest presenter is Kathy Kahn, Jewish Family Services Board Member, will share tips, advice, and suggestions and her story.

Note: If you are receiving unemployment benefits through the state of Ohio, attendance in this workshop counts as job search activity.
