REBUILDING A FUTURE
FEATURING JANE
Jane moved to Columbus following a difficult divorce with plans to start fresh. Not long after relocating – and before she had built her network – Jane lost her new job due to COVID-19. She began to worry she would lose her housing, too, and end up homeless in an unfamiliar city. Jane was in crisis.
At Jewish Family Services we helped her develop a plan of action. We provided financial assistance for rent and utilities and a career consultant helped with job search support, resume review and interview coaching.
Before long, Jane landed a position with Chase Bank paying $20/hour. Now she is doing great and has completed her 90-day probationary period.
