We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Nila Hari, Jewish Family Services School Liaison Team Lead, who has been featured in Columbus Business First’s “People on the Move” spotlight during AAPI Heritage Month!
Nila, a Bhutanese refugee who resettled in Columbus in 2015, champions the academic success of New American (resettled refugee) students. His personal journey provides invaluable understanding, guiding over 150 students as they build their new lives. Further demonstrating his commitment to service, Nila also serves as a Field Feeding Officer 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Reserves, joining in 2019. His vital work fosters integration, transforming challenges into triumphs and building a stronger, more inclusive Columbus for all.
