Welcome to Jewish Family Services (JFS), Columbus, Ohio. We
are a nationally accredited mental health, workforce, and social service
agency that has been helping individuals and families, in both
the Jewish and general community, face life's challenges for
nearly 100 years (2008).
To celebrate our 100 years, the agency has begun a major writing
project, "100 Years, Hundreds of Stories," a compilation of
interviews given by current and former JFS clients, board and committee members,
staff and other members of the community whose lives have been touched
by our agency. Through these stories, you will learn about the
hope,
strength,
guidance and
encouragement that JFS
professionals have provided to numerous individuals and families
over the years, ensuring that no one faces life's challenges
alone.
The stories are written by
professional writers, college, high and middle school students.
"100 Years, Hundreds of Stories" is just one of many ways that
JFS will be celebrating this special birthday, so be sure to
